Help Us Rock Out Hunger Again
|Released: 10/28/2022 2:52:00 PM|
This holiday season, the Kaleida Health family is continuing its commitment to help those in need in our community by joining 97 Rock and WKBW 7 ABC to sponsor the 17th annual Rock Out Hunger to benefit FeedMore WNY.
Hunger is a pervasive problem in Western New York. In fact, as many as one in six individuals may be at risk of hunger in 2021 throughout FeedMore WNY’s service area.
This year, 97 Rock’s DJ Jickster will camp out in a truck at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital collecting turkeys, other perishable and non-perishable food items and monetary donations from November 15-22.
Before the event kicks off, Kaleida Health and its affiliates will have donation containers available to collect non-perishable food items from Monday, October 10 through Tuesday, November 8. See a list of participating sites HERE.
Food and monetary donations can also be made online at https://yougivegoods.com/rockouthunger22.

Individuals who wish to donate the holiday turkey certificates they receive from Kaleida Health can drop it off at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital during Rock Out Hunger from November 15-22. Turkey certificates are being mailed out at the end of October.
Last year, Rock Out Hunger collected 1,100 turkeys, as well as more than $50,000 and 34,022 pounds of food to give to families in need of holiday meals. FeedMore WNY and the communities it serves are counting on the Kaleida Health family to make this another successful year!
